Curious if anybody has setup PAM 4.3.1 with Brocade ADX Loadbalancing successfully ?
It is not one of certified LB for PAM 4.3.1 yet
NOTE: It uses CSW-rules compare to iRule definition in F5
It uses requires url prefix. So it looks like
csw-rule "pam-csw-r01" url prefix "/jmx-console*"
csw-rule "pam-csw-r02" url prefix "/web-console*"
csw-rule "pam-csw-r24" url prefix "/ws/node1"
csw-rule "pam-csw-r25" url prefix "/ws/node1*"
csw-rule "pam-csw-r26" url prefix "/ws/node2"
csw-rule "pam-csw-r27" url prefix "/ws/node2*"
csw-rule "pam-csw-r28" url prefix "/*"
Per Brocade ADX Admin, it is not handling node1 /node2 as F5 would.
So after login to https://itpam-loadbalancer/itpam
it seems to load main page but comes back with error
c20.log log show "user servicedesk authenticated"
1. Login using Loadbalancer VIP
say https://itpam-loadbalancer/itpam/Web.jsp url works fine when only one Domain Orchestrator is up
2. when both started login to individual host names say
https://itpam-host2/itpam/Web.jsp works fine
Thanks in advance.
Unfortunately this load balancer is not supported for Process Automation.
I can't help you with your specific load balancer but i can encourage you by saying that we are using NetScaler, wich is also not supported.
Any load balancer for Process Automation must support Layer 7 load balancing. There are several load balancers that support this and I believe Brocade is one of them, but CA Support can not offer specific assistance with that implementation.
You can take the provided sample NGiNX configuration files on the Process Automation media and the F5 iRule in the documentation to use as a base for your implementation.
Beyond that I can only suggest to see if this is something that CA Services can assist with.
