  • 1.  CAITPAM: Add the Content-Transfer-Encoding MIME header

    Posted Feb 19, 2016 07:44 AM

    Hi team,

I am sending a file using the MIME tab of the SOAP operator. I can see the message being sent using the membrane proxy. By default, only are included the Content-Type and the Content-ID. Is it possible to add more MIME headers like e.g. Content-Transfer-Encoding?

Thanks in advance for your help.

There does not seem to be a way to add additional MIME headers.  These are the only available fields and there is not a way to get at the code to manually manipulate it:

    • Content Type
Defines the content type of the MIME attachment (for example, text).
    • Content ID
Defines the unique identifier for the MIME attachment.
    • File URL
Defines the URL of the MIME attachment.

I would suggest opening an "idea" here on the communities so that it can be evaluated for an enhancement to a future release.
