  • 1.  Can Orchestrator work as Agent?

    Posted Jun 25, 2015 03:24 AM

We have 2 node clustered pam environment.

Every Operator in PAM will get executed on either of two nodes, say NODE1 or NODE2 if we don't specify any touch point name.

Is there any way that i can specify a operator to run on specific NODE rather indefinitely either of the NODES?

    Help is much appreciated.

In a Clustered environment all nodes are considered one 'Orchestrator' distributed across multiple servers to spread the load and make each run more efficiently.      You could install an Additional Orchestrator, which would be connected and share the library of the main orchestrators, but separate runtime databases which would allow you to design processes that run specifically on that Orchestrator, or if you just need a small part of a process to run on a specific node you could install an agent along side the Orchestrator server.
