I have installed API Gateway OVA v10 (Appliance).

    I patched it with the V10 CR01
I patched the July V10 security patch 7/23

With a default Database created, the gateway will show RUNNING.

When I ssgbackup from an existing V10 gateway and ssgmigrate onto this new V10 gateway (2 nodes)

    • The Primary Node comes up with WONT_START
    • The Secondary comes up just fine and I can log into it with Policy manager

this is what I am seeing in the Controller logs.  Any ideas on why the Default crashes with Exit code 0 on this primary node but starts up just fine on the Secondary node?

    Hello Rick,

This could go in many different ways.  I would recommend looking at the SSPC and MySQL.d logs along with the SSG logs to troubleshoot.

    Matthew,

Thanks for the reply to my post.

I worked with support yesterday afternoon it turns out it was because of a Custom Assertion being in 2 directories (the right one and a wrong one) at the same time.  This was causing the gateway service to crash.  As soon as I removed the Custom Assertion from the wrong directory, everything came up fine.

    Thanks again.
