This can be done. The typical model I've seen is to use Beats to forward the ssg_0_0.log file to ElasticSearch where the post processing is done by Kibana. If reformatting is required, use LogStash. I has not actually done this myself, nor amI aware of any HOWTO style documentation about it, but I have seen customers do it with great success.
