Install problems at Software Gateway9.3 with mysql5.7

I have to install of software gateway9.3 with mysql5.7 community verion in centos 7.4.
but not compatible my.cnf from virtual Appliance Gateway9.3.
Mysql5.7 occurs error when I use my.cnf form Virtal Appliance Gateway9.3
With MySQL5.5 is simple but.....
MySQL 5.7 was changed many functions, I heard.

can I get MySQL5.7 install documents or compatible my.cnf.

Mysql 5.7 does not use /etc/my.cnf, as far as I remember there is a folder under /etc/my.cnf.d which stores my.cnf definitions.
