How to access MQ queue name that message was fetched from?

  • 1.  How to access MQ queue name that message was fetched from?

    Hello,

    The customer has the following question:

    Is there some builtin context variable, that allows to find out the name of MQNative queue which is the source of currently processed message?
    I've tried request.mqnative.header.jms.JMSDestination and request.mqnative.additionalheader.jms.JMSDestination, but they're both empty.

    I chceked the support database but found no hints. Any idea?

    Thx in advance.

    ~Frank

    @Hi Frank,

    I am wondering if you managed to solve your issue retrieving the inbound queuename from the mqnative properties/headers.

    We're implementing error handling for Websphere MQ which requires the queuename/queuemanagername for resubmitting message to the original inbound queue/queuemanager.

    Thanks,

    Dennis

    Dennis and Frank,

    I've been doing some research and this value is not available in policy. I've created an Idea to request this functionality: Access MQ queue name that message was fetched from

    Sincerely,
