Dear CA Community,
I am trying to uninstall the CA Developper Portal in order to reinstall it from scratch, even the database - in the software version.
I have install the Portal on a server and the Gateway to which it is connected is on an other server.
Is there a procedure to do it - with all the files that I have to delete and the tasks on the Policy Manager ?
Thank you for your answers !
The Portal is shipped as OVA file, therefore it is not possible to uninstall it, if you really do want to start from scratch then download the ova file and deploy to a new server. Let me know if you have further specific questions.
Hello M. Clark,
Thank you for your answer.
I forgot, in my question, to clarify that I installed the Portal in its software version so I didn't have to use an OVA file.
Does it change anything to uninstall it ?
Thank you for the extra information. I have had a look on p[published documentation and on CA Support's support system and we don't have any information on uninstalling the software portal. You could remove the rpms band the lrs and lrsdata databases but you will still have left over configuration and data files. If you really want to start from scratch then a clean OS would be needed.
Thank you for that answer, I will do that.
