Is anyone experiencing a major slow down of Banner RA jobs in Applications Manager when more than 2 jobs are running at the same time?
At 4pm each day, we have a Chain aka Process Flow that starts that runs 4 versions of TGRCLOS simultaneously and then 4 versions of TGRCSHR after the previous 4 are done. Also at that time, we have several jobs that run every 5 minutes and every 15 minutes start up (FGRACTG, FORAPPL and TGPHOLD, GLBDATA) So we could have up to 7 or 8 (or more) Banner RA jobs running at the same time and it will slow them way down. FGRACTG normally takes less than a minute to run during the day, but at 4pm when everything else starts up, it takes 5-8 minutes or more to run.
This is just one example, this also happens at night during our Nightly Processing Chain, which needs to finish before 9pm in order to ship files to the State of Montana for our daily financial business.
We are running Applications Manager 9.3.0 with RA Banner 4.0HF1 on an Oracle Linux OS if that helps at all.
