When to use quotes for parameters when submitting a flow/job to run in Automic?

  • 1.  When to use quotes for parameters when submitting a flow/job to run in Automic?

    We have many pl/sql scripts that run via Automic flows/jobs and it seems that we have to use a beginning and ending quote for input parameters whereas for Banner jobs we do not have to add the quotes.  Is anyone having the same issue and if so have you found a work-around?  

    example:  pl/sql scripts require   'STUDENT'               Banner jobs do not require the quotes    STUDENT
