Monitoring of Node Status

Is there a way to monitor the connection status of a node and send an email alert for any status other than Connected?

Hi,

Here is the way I would do it:
I would install a Dollar Universe on the same machine as the Management Server (I know that most customer do that).

I would regularly execute the following command ./uxlst FNC FNC=LAN NODE=<the remote node>

Then if it fails or if it's not marked as "Started", I would send an alert (with the Dollar Universe email mechanism).

What do you think? Would it work for you?
