We are running Applications Manager 9.2.1 on AIX and as of this morning our users are unable to login to AppWorx. The error message is:

This appears to be due to this expired code-signing certificate:

Has anyone else seen this problem?

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi,

We were able to add our URL's for Appworx to the Java Site Exception list and get it to work as a quick fix.

I was under the impression that Broadcom/CA  was supposed to get a patch released to fix this permanently as well. But it was not going to be ready by June 8th.

Also, we are in the process of upgrading to AM version 9.3.0 which has it's own version of java web start. You might want to look into that.

Adding the site to the Java security exception list is the work around:  https://community.broadcom.com/communities/community-home/digestviewer/viewthread?MID=792994#bmc7531016-4d97-4c4f-b71e-45ba4021cc5a.  How to permanently update the certificate is also my question.

Thank you Angela and Angie. We are going to use the Java security exception list as a workaround until we can get upgraded to 9.3.0.

Could you post the download links to 9.3 if you have them?

We're currently on 9.1.3 -- but having issues navigating the new site.

Your security settings have blocked an application from running with an out-of-date or expired version of Java. Your security settings have blocked an untrusted application from running. For security reasons, recent versions of Java may block unsigned Java applets from automatically running by default.
