While working with CA Services recently, EEM Support was alerted to a problem with the Autosys 11.3.6 install suite.
When installing multiple components at the same time, the EEM server install would fail. The problem was the CAPKI install was never getting completed, hence preventing the EEM install from continuing. Here are the steps (unconfirmed) that was performed with a single customer:
Install SSA first. This is due to CAPKI install. It seems that the EEM install inside autosuite doesn’t install CAPKI correctly.
1. 1. Set ccs_resource_check = 0 (ignores hostname 27 char limitation)
2. 2. Install SSA from autosuite components. (lays down CAPKI) This is where the problem lies. EEM standalone installs CAPKI without issue
