Meet CA Support Engineer for eHealth, CAMM, CA Performance Manager: Steve Moran

steve twitter.jpgSteve Moran has been a support engineer at CA for about 14 years. He currently works as a designated support engineer for one of our top clients. He supports CA eHealth, CA Mediation Manager, and CA Performance Management. Steve actually started his career working in a NOC that used the eHealth.


Steve says support has changed immensely since he started his career as a support engineer.


“We had a small team located in one physical office supporting one product. No knowledge base or online presence, all case work was via email or phone. We are now Global. The product evolved into a very large one via acquisitions (eHealth) and CA created a whole new product (Performance Manager). We are now primarily online with numerous locations for knowledge.”


One of those location is, CA Communities.


“By staying current with the communities an engineer can not only help answer questions, but proactively learn about issues without owning the case.”


Outside of work Steve is a dedicated Little League Baseball and Softball coach. He also loves to play golf whenever he can.


Steve’s support education started out in the Air Force, followed by a few years at college, and he continues to learn everyday!  He says the real challenge, and the reason he has stayed at CA for so many years, is staying current with the technologies that CA’s products use.
