CA Technologies’ APM product innovation solidifies strong market position”, ranking #out of 20 Global APM vendors in the Research In Action "Vendor Selection Matrix – Next Generation Application Performance Management SaaS And Software: The Top 20 Global Vendors 2017". We believe this is further validation of our commitment to help our customers easily manage their applications, websites, mobile applications, services and underlying technology to improve the quality of their customers’ interactions with their brand.

What makes this report unique is that it is primarily survey-based with roughly 60% of evaluation results being based on enterprise buyer survey results while 40% is based on analyst opinion.  At CA we are committed to our customers and are pleased to see CA scoring very high in customer satisfaction.   Research In Action notes “Clients are highly satisfied with CA today, both in terms of customer satisfaction as well as the price/value ratio. In both criteria, CA scored the second highest result of all market competitors”.  Similar to other reports, Research In Action evaluates vendors on both strategy and execution.  In the report, “CA is noted as highly differentiated, the vision remains strong.” This is validation of our commitment to the APM portfolio and investment to drive market leading innovation, ease of use and analytics that help users improve customer experience and application performance.

Here are just a few examples of the innovation delivered in the past year:

1. Unique patent-pending innovations seen in APM 10.0 with:

  • Perspectives allows you to easily create task-relevant views based on attributes important to a specific role or immediate task such as location, business unit or application component.
  • Timeline provides the ability to visually depict changes in app environments so teams can quickly identify when and where changes occurred along with the resulting service impact so DevOps teams receive recommended fixes in real time.
  • Differential Analysis helps you to quickly recognize problems as they develop and intuitively understand the most critical and recurrent problems across your application landscape—with no configuration required.

2.  Prescriptive analytics introduced APM 10.5, simplifies and applies analytics to answer two key application performance questions 1. What is the experience? 2. Why is causing the poor experience - speeding triage and improving customer experience. See it for yourself!

3. CA App Experience Analytics which allows you to gain proactive, real-time insights into user behavior, buyer trends and omnichannel performance for complete visibility into digital performance and customer experience across web, mobile, and wearable devices.

4. Support for modern applications using microservices, Docker, node.js, Cloud Foundry, AWS and more.
