With projects, there was always a point where the project stopped and operations began – that handover at the end of the project where a new set of people had to take over accountability for the project’s deliverables – the digital product in our modern terminology. But in DPM that handover is much more subtle. We are managing our digital products as a single entity, strategically directing the entire lifecycle from the point where the concept is first considered to the point where it is retired.
