VCAP 3V0-21.23 exam

Hi,

I have passed 2V0-41.23 recently and have an older VCP-DCV for vSphere 6.

Since 2V0-41.23 is a network virtualization track and not data center, is there

a requirement to take 2V0-21.23 before one can attempt VCAP 3V0-21.23 exam?

Can I forgo this 2V0-21.23 exam and attempt the VCAP exam?

Hi Bryan, in May we changed the requirement and you no longer need to earn the VCP to achieve the equivalent VCAP. Passing the exam alone will grant you the certification. It will not grant the lower level. For example, earning the VCAP-DCV Design will not grant you the VCP-DCV or VCTA-DCV
