I had my VCP5 lapsed and the best option for the course requirement was VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage [V6.5] course. From day one I realised that this is a very basic course (even for the Foundation exam). I really would like to go in prepared for both the foundation and DCV but the course books seem very slim. I am busy studying the course books. The study guide references for the Foundation exam is a joke - it is basically referencing to the entire vShpere 6.5 documentation. I will try to go through this but I am starting to wonder how long my preparation time will take and whether I am truly prepared. I work with the product on a daily basis in terms of administrations, troubleshooting and optimising. However, when it comes to studying I always try to summarise everything 1:1 fearing I might miss a detail.
I see the VMware Marketplace has just released the Practice Exams (VMware Certified Professional 6.5 ). I am more than willing to buy them but would like to know if anybody else has used Measure-Up Practice exams for previous VCPs? Are they game changers for your studying?
Would appreciate any real experiences comments or practical advice.
