    Hi,

I am in the final stages of my thesis research, which utilizes VMware NSX. To support this research, I joined the VMware User Group (VMUG) and paid $210 USD to obtain an evaluation license. However, recently, VMware implemented a new policy that blocks access to download licenses for VMUG members.

At the moment, my VMware NSX license is valid for only 90 days and is set to expire on December 15, 2024. I urgently need an additional license to complete the final testing phase of my research. Therefore, I am requesting your help to inquire with the Dell/VMware team if it is possible to obtain an additional 60-day evaluation trial license. This would be more than sufficient for me to finish my research.

I am truly frustrated and desperate with this situation, especially since my research is so close to completion. I would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance you can provide and help me the vmware NSX trial license.

I have already tried reaching out to VMware support for the VMUG community, but I have not yet received a response. I also tried asking on Reddit forums for assistance with sharing a serial number for the VMware NSX trial evaluation data center.

You cannot get a new trial license from anyone from a forum, neither here or anywhere else. Once a 90 day trial license has been applied you cannot apply a new one.

As I see it, you have two options:
Contact you local Broadcom/VMwre NSX SE and see if they an help, as they are the only ones that can create a 60 days license for you.

The second option, as this is a trial, you could just delete everything and reinstall NSX with a new 90 days license, then just recreate the configs.

Third option is going for the VMUG advantage program, and then pass the VCF exam, that will give you a fully licensed VCF.

I am quite sure this was not what you was hoping for, but those are the only options as I see it.
