  • 1.  SEP blocks Network Load Balancing (NLB) traffic

    Posted May 17, 2023 06:06 PM

    Hi Team,

I write you because I have a customer that is activating the Network Load Balancing on 2 servers and the traffic is stopped. When the customer stops the SEP service, the traffic is allowed and functions well.

Does anyone knows what will happen? Or which rule you recommends to allow this service of Microsoft.

    Regards

You would want to enable logging to Traffic Log in the FW policy for all Block Rules.

    Reproduce the issue.

Look at the blocks in the clients Traffic log and create a FW rule based off of that to allow the blocked traffic.
