Licensing - Days left does not match expiry date

Hi experts,
I know there is an article that mention to delete all license and reapply to fix this.
The question is, should I delete all or only the going to expire licenses?
Another question on maintenance expiry date. The actual expiry date shown in license is March 4, 2023. Where does the September 5, 2024 derived from?

Please expand list of installed licenses in Symantec Installation Manager and sort by "AUP Date" column in "License Removal" tool

Hi Ain Abdullah!

Symantec Installation Manager shows "Days left" only for activated licenses (activation depends on "issue date" of license, so as we can see, there are licenses with issue date which will be only in future).

Example where see that "Days Left" shows amount of days only for active licenses and not for license(s) which issue date is in future

Here is a custom report to see current activated licenses information and their remaining days before "Maintenance" expiration

Download attached "Current activated ITMS Licenses AUP expiration date information.xml" and import it in SMP Console

Hi IP,
Here is how the report looks like.

Will the new license automatically activated when the old one expires?
Take Patch Management Solution for example. By 19 August, will the expiry date automatically updated to 6 September 2022 (which is the next expiry)?

Hi Ain!

Once your current "Patch Management Solution" license "Maintenance" will be expired, then it will be replaced by other installed "Patch Management Solution" licenses (but it depends on installed license(s) 'issue date')

For example:
License with issue date September 9/09/2022 can't be activated on NS if current date is 8/01/2022, otherwise license will be activated only by 9/09/2022 date and will be consumed.
(When ITMS 8.6 RU3 and SIM 8.6 RU3 will be released, you will update Symantec Installation Manager, then on "Product Licensing" page you will see what licenses will be activated in future and aren't active now -- this is how it is shown on my screenshot above in this thread)

Just to ensure that my understand is correct. So here is how the entitlement looks like.

In this case, on 20 August 2022, "Days left" will automatically changed to days left before 6 September 2022, correct?
Can I say that I should not be concerned with "Days Left", as long as the maintenance expiry is still valid.
