  • 1.  Broadcom Support Outsourced for Altiris?

    I hadn't opened a support case in awhile for Altiris and when I did so the other day, ended up getting someone from TD SYNNEX.  Did Broadcom leave support to a 3rd-party or is it just because of who we renewed our annual maintenance through the last time?

    Never worked with TD SYNNEX before nor have I heard of them but I'm sure there are a lot of overseas companies providing tech support these days.  Just don't know how good/bad these guys really are where Altiris is concerned since we ended up finding the source of our problem internally.

    I have not had that issue with Broadcom in the past, but have not created a new case in 14 months. Sometime last year, I did open a case with Microsoft online and TD SYNNEX offered support. I declined the support and called my Microsoft sales rep. He gave me a different phone number with the exact extension numbers for Microsoft support.
