Certification Complete: Db2 v13 on z/OS

I'm pleased to announce that we have completed certification of Db2 v13 on z/OS. This certification applies to customer generated applications on Gen 8.6.

• We have updated the Db2 Compatibility Matrix.
• No Gen PTFs are needed for this certification. 
• Gen 8.6 runtimes remain at Db2 v12.

We are planning to upgrade from DB2 V12 to V13 in 2024.

DBAs are encouraging a rebind to update the APPLCOMPAT for packages (DSNZPARM has been updated to reflect APPLCOMPAT of V12R1M500).
In part to avoid the overhead of automatic rebinds in CICS once we upgrade.
We have a number of application programs with older APPLCOMPAT values and want be sure we won't deprecate any functionality by updating the packages.  Any suggestions or reassurance you can offer would be most appreciated.
Also, the same applies for the z/OS Host toolset - any issues with updating to our current APPLCOMPAT ?
