In 2015, the NetMaster team released a new capability to obtain data from the TCP/IP stack's TRACE NMI. Prior to introduction of the new capability, NetMaster used a "hook" to obtain packet data from the stack, a less stable way to obtain data. The NetMaster team will no longer support the hook method in post-2.5 z/OS releases. If you do not already use the TRACE NMI, you should configure your NetMaster installation to do so. To check whether your NetMaster installation is using the TRACE NMI, verify that the PATRACENMI setting in the SSIPARM member is not set to NO (having the setting undefined or set to YES are both acceptable).

If you do need to modify this setting, please refer to the additional security setup documentation HERE.
