  • 1.  List of available ESP Agent and Agent Plug-ins?

    Posted Sep 14, 2022 09:40 AM
    Hi,

I've been looking for a full list of available ESP Agents and Agent Plug-ins to show an internal Solution Architect the range of workload ESP can schedule but surprisingly can't find this anywhere in the documentation or even the marketing. Could anyone send me a link to a document that lists the agents, or all the job types and variants?  TIA.

    Hi Peter,

Will you check if the following doc link is helpful? It's the list of all non-mainframe wob types:

    https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/ca-mainframe-software/automation/ca-workload-automation-esp-edition/12-0/reference/initialization-parameters/wobdef-define-workload-objects.html

Note: a few are not related to agent, like APPLEND. APPLSTART and DSTRIG. And some are related to varied agents, like FTP_JOB. You may need to check some of them for related agents.

    Thank you,

    Lucy

    Hi Lucy,

Great to hear from you again! And please to hear you're still going strong at Broadcom and with ESP.  Thank you for this information, it is pretty useful. I put together a list using this and the Workstation Editor - I'll post it separately. All the best, Peter T.
