Hi Igor, I am following everything you have. I still do not have a database 'IT Analytics' in my Analysis Server. Maybe SQL Analysis wasn't configured properly? Obviously it works with 2017 because you have it working. Is there anyone I could converse with over the phone and work with remotely, like a front line/back line Tech? I do have a ticket in for this, but it has been over 10 days and no one has picked up my ticket.

Analysis database can be created or use existing from SMP Console on ITA Configuration page where you specify Analysis Server address so after that it should offer to create a new database or choose existing below.
Also same behavior when you specify Reporting URL below the Analysis Server settings on ITA Configuration page.
As example when you click on 'Edit' pencil button
But don't know why on your pics, there is nothing shown for "Reporting Server" on ITA Configuration page and only
Browser cache glitch? Try another browser from another machine? Restart SQL Server, Analysis, Reportings services?

Igor and Doug, looking over your messages/screenshots today. I have a feeling my issue is a lack of reporting database in Analysis Server. Just a moment ago I was in Report Services, create a new report server database. Went through the steps and after it finished; IT Analytics database was in 'Database Engine' NOT 'Analysis Server'. How do I create the database in Analysis? This might be the missing piece to get it working.

I do not have any databases established under Analysis, I suppose there should be? How did I set that up? ReportServer2017 was created under Databases automatically through sql 2017 report services.

I did look at them but I just looked again and maybe it is just a simple configuration issue.
I did a quick google search on the blank page you are seeing in Report Server and the most common thing was UAC. Have you tried opening it from another browser or system? You will need to make sure that is working or there really isn't a point to try and get ITA connected.
That being said the message you are getting in ITA is about Analysis Services and the screenshot you provided for the database is for the standard SQL database, not Analysis Server. Be default we would name the database IT Analytics but if you connect to your Analysis server you should be able to see that.
I would start at the top and double-check all the settings. They may be on the same server but it may not be an instance or may not be the same instance name etc.

Hi Doug, unfortunately that did not resolve it. I agree with what you said: "Until you are able to access it through reporting services ITA will not be able to use it either". I think there must be something to do with ReportServer2017 virtual directory. This does not seem as transparent as it was in sql 2014. For instance, when opening sql 2017 report services, it opens under instance SSRS instead of Altiris_CMS. You have reviewed my screenshots I added earlier?

That could be as simple as the service being stopped.

Igor, correction with my web portal url screen. Below is the correct screenshot. When I click on the url that is created I receive a blank page. I should be receiving a web page with a directory called ReportServer2017, the virtual directory.

Hi MJammer!
First I will take a look how is Reporting Services 2017 are configured.
In my case after reporting sql 2017 installation, I've done manual applying of settings for:
- Web Services URL
- Database (created a new reporting database and provided there my current non default SQL 2017 instance name)
- Web Portal URL
Here are they where you can check current settings of your Reporting Server 2017:
Using 8.5 RU3 release I can successfully apply SQL 2017 services for ITA Configuration, install ITA cubes, reports and process data

I recently moved my cmdb from sql 2014 to sql 2017 and added the reporting feature for 2017. Trying to setup my it analytics reporting and I constantly receive the message that my Analysis Server: Database 'ReportServer' does not exist. Report server on sql 2017 is configured with this name and seems to be setup correctly. In the ITA Configuration I constantly receive the message I mentioned above. ITA Reports were configured and working in 2014, but 2017 is a different story. I also have a ticket in with Broadcom, but its been a week, and I just upgraded the severity of my ticket. I am feeling for little love from Broadcom unless I have to go after a particular Tech to take the ticket. Unfortunately I do not have a Report/ITA Tech to reach out to.
