As per latest release notes of Symantec Drive Encryption 10.3.2 is supported on the following OS'es:
Symantec Encryption Desktop can be installed on systems running the following versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems:
■ Windows Server 2012 R2 (64-bit edition)
■ Windows Server 2012 (64-bit edition)
■ Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit edition)
■ Windows Server 2008 (32-bit edition)
■ Windows Server 2003 (32- and 64-bit editions, including Service Pack 1 or 2)
The above operating systems are supported only when all of the latest hot fixes and security patches from Microsoft have been applied.
The KB which you refer is from 2012.

Note: Beginning with version 10 of Symantec Encryption Desktop (formerly known as PGP Desktop), Drive Encryption is supported on server hardware including the following: Windows Server 2003 SP2 (32-bit and 64-bit editions), Windows Server 2008 SP1 & SP2, Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit), and VMWare ESXi4 (supported Microsoft Windows Servers operating in a virtual environment) Drive Encryption is supported on systems with internal hardware RAID-1 and RAID-5. Software RAID is not supported.
