What I am trying to do (my end goal) is use Application Management to track compliance of custom applications (from IIS web services to Win32 apps) and then report on what is out of compliance.

As part of this I want to setup each custom package (or baseline) in the Software Catalog so it can be tracked as a CI.

I've created one baseline but I can't figure how to get that application information into NS (7.1)

Would enjoy a chat if you have the time.

What defines compliance?  An application being installed?  If it isn't found, the computer is non-compliant?

Compliance would be defined as a particular file not being the file that is supposed to be there according to the criteria selected (I would choose checksum since some files would be config files.)

If one file on a server farm of 200 servers was wrong we would want to know about that.
