Symantec endpoint protection prevent login on windows server 2012

 

OS VERSION : standard 2012 64 bit

Endpoint version :12.1.3 RU3

 

i am getting below mention while login

 

the user profile service service failed the sign-in user profile cannot be loaded

This is not a SEPM problem do you have try different admin account.

you mean SEPM or SEP client?

does uninstalling SEP allows to login?

after stop symantec services i am able to login into the server.

not need uninstall client we just stop symantec services and it started load all windows login profile.

What components are installed for SEP? Have you tried with AV only?

According to Microsof documentation, the most common cause would be as follows:

"This issue may occur if the user profile was manually deleted by using the command prompt or Windows Explorer by a user or by some program. A profile that is manually deleted does not remove the security identifier (SID) from the user profile list in the registry. Since the SID is still present, Vista (or Windows 7) will still try to load the profile by using the ProfileImagePath that points to a nonexistent path. Therefore, the profile cannot be loaded".

I have been facing this after entered the server in domain, when I stop –smc it works normal and I able to load profile. The server is newly created we didn’t delete anything on that.

When you will restart SMC service problem occured again ?

If yes you can create support ticket for this problem.

If your profile cache in system after that not need to stop smc for same login

It's means when create new profile problem are occured.
