  • 1.  Clean wipe version 12.RU2 uninstall Symantec backup exec 2012 ?

    Hi All,

     

    Clean wipe version 12.RU2 uninstall Symantec backup exec 2012 ?

     

     

    I want use RU2 clean wipe version to remove sep 11.0 but on the same server my backup exec 2012 so how I can go-ahead for this.

    Whats the need to use cleanwipe? Do not use it if you are able to remove it from add/

    remove programs.

    AFAIK new cleanwipe will not remove any other symantec product other than SEP .

    get the latest version, it asks for the module to be uninstalled.

    Hi, 

    You will get the cleawipe utility via support. And while running it will ask for the components to be removed.

    Cleanwipe removes the following:

    It won't remove Backup Exec

    I would be glad to answer your query.

    Cleanwipe won't remove Backup Exec products.This is the enhancement in the latest version of Cleanwipe.

    Screenshot shared by Brain's 81 shows supported versions.
