    EMC version:- EMC VNX5300 (Unified) stoage box

    How to install CAVA for this.

    Note this uses Symantec Scan/Protection Engine, and not SEP.  The Protection Engine is a separate License/product.

    SPE is really good product and only recommended solution for scanning NAS devices. Some customers still use SEP with network scanning option to scan NAS - but this cannot really provide a proper performance for scanning millions of files.

    As an aside, while it's worth investigating the Protection Engine, I personally reckon it's more likey that the threat files are being created by one or more infected client machine(s).

    If this is the case, then you may want to look into some of the auditing options avialable on the Cellera to help you track down who/what's creating the threat files.  Lots of results on the interweb available regarding file auditing and your device.

    What impact I will face if I depoly on live prodcution because my crurrent nas storage with infected with virus or I cant deploy on live prodcution how can I test it in my environment.
