    Hello Jan,

Symantec Management Agent is not supported for FreeBSD systems. However you may use Agentless Inventory if SNMP read-only access is enabled on your FreeBSD box.

Try to access your SNMP-enabled  FreeBSD computer (UDP port 161 should not be blocked by the host’s firewall) with command like ’snmpwalk -v2c -c public <HOST>’  and in case host is answering with info, let Network Discovery to find this resource and subsequent Agentless Inventory task targeted to discovered host will do the job. You may need to create your own Custom SNMP mapping tables on Console side in order to get more detailed and versatile Inventory, compared to default set of Agentless Inventory data-classes available.

    Thanks,

    Roman
