Smart phones in the Enterprise?

I am wondering what your companies are doing about or handling personal Smart phone devices in the Enterprise? Are you allowing them to join your Enterprise network and share data? If so, have you limited the types (models) of devices that you allow to join? Do you manage these devices, either centrally or locally? Any information would be of great benefit.
