Carla, Linda, Craig, Laura and Steve attended

    1) Preliminary agenda was posted by to the IUA site Wednesday along with the registration information.    We discussed how we will deliver new abstracts.  Linda plans on making weekly announcements to the IUA site to keep things fresh in people’s minds.  She plans a special announcement for Mike Madden’s keynote and then additional sessions as we confirm them.

    2) Registration opened yesterday as noted above.  We have our first user registered!   The committee will need regular updates on registration information as we need to review the session information and keep an eye on attendance.  We have approximately 2 open slots in each track right now so we can fill from user submitted ideas or go ahead with other sessions we have on hold.  But we need to finalize all topics by October 1st so we can start working on the presentations themselves. Registration deadline is 11/1

    3) Session review process was discussed.  IUA wants to review all appl, dba and general interest sessions (this doesn’t include strategy or keynotes).  CA will use review using similar multi-level review we use for CA World.  The list will be divided up among the IUA board to each review a set of sessions.  The sessions will be sent to Carla and she will post in the community.  IUA can reply to the post to make comments about the session.

    4) Session stuff

    -  Steve Rundle brought up an excellent point.  Once these sessions are reviewed and finalized that is the version that should be delivered.  Like CA World, we don’t want any onsite revisions without approval from CA and IUA.  To that end we should have a dedicated laptop in each session room with all the sessions pre-loaded.  That will make it easier to transition from session to session and ensure the correct version of the session is being presented.

    - Final agenda and grid need to be set by 11/1 so we can start scheduling 1-on-1’s.

    - Clients can use company template or the CA template.  Carla will add the IUA logo and create a template we can email to speakers.  Also speaker guidelines.  We are asking sessions be submitted for review by 11/1 if not sooner

    - Should we have session evaluations? Discussion tabled

    - Should we have a conference evaluation? Online?  Discussion tabled
