    you're doing the following?
Telnet -> Gateway HTTP Listener -> Gateway TCP Route Assertion -> HTTP Serverù

    yes

Is it just the TCP route assertion? And between where are you not getting a response? Between the TCP route assertion and the HTTP server?

    yes

Or between Telnet and the HTTP listener?

    No. With telnet work.

    Thanks
    Marco

    Hello Marco,

We may need some clarification to better understand your use case. For example, are you saying you're doing the following?

Telnet -> Gateway HTTP Listener -> Gateway TCP Route Assertion -> HTTP Server

And if so, what does your policy look like? Is it just the TCP route assertion? And between where are you not getting a response? Between the TCP route assertion and the HTTP server? Or between Telnet and the HTTP listener?

However, in any case, I would not encourage using the TCP route assertion in this way. Both the TCP listener and route assertion are relatively old, designed with specific expectations of connection state to handle the request/response pattern, and rarely used. They certainly were not intended to be a lower level alternative to HTTP. While you might get some things to work, you might continue to run into things that don't.
