    Hi Support,

Is there any plan for PIM to support kernel version 3.10.0-1160.80.1.el7.x86_64?

    Regards,

    Atifah

    Hello Atifah,

As per the compatibility matrix, we have the following listed. In general, unless the OS version itself is not changing, the minor kernel builds should not be causing a problem during installation/deployment and usage. The only area of the problem might be if the OS vendor has modifications in the Kernel module itself based on the minor kernel number.

PIM R12.8, go with the latest release CP05

    RHEL 7.9 3.10.0-1160.66.1.el7.x86_64 12.81.0.4287 28/07/2022 Download     CP05
    RHEL 7.9 3.10.0-1160.71.1.el7.x86_64 12.81.0.4287 28/07/2022 Download     CP05
    RHEL 7.9 3.10.0-1160.62.1.el7.x86_64 12.81.0.4260 12/05/2022 Download
    RHEL 7.9 3.10.0-1160.el7.x86_64 12.81.0.3924 16/10/2020 DE479823_rpm DE479823_Install_base

    For PAMSC 14.x.x

    RHEL 7.9 3.10.0-1160.el7.x86_64
    14.10.0.1494
    11/02/2020 Install_base Linux Package

    Thanks,
    Reatesh.

    Hi Reatesh,

Is it means that we can installed PIM 12.81.x.x with kernel version 3.10.0-1160.80.1.el7.x86_64?

    Thanks,

    Atifah

    Hi Atifah,

Yes, you can install it, this looks to be a Cent OS host.

    Thanks,
    Reatesh

    Hi Reatesh,

Just want to reconfirm, previously I've been advised to make sure follow the matrix in order to install the product successfully. Here the conversation for your reference - PIM - error SEOS_load: SEOS_syscall WASN'T loaded | Symantec Privileged Access Management (broadcom.com)

Based on above link, it seems a must to follow the matrix in order to receive a support in case if there is any issue/error. Could you please reconfirm on this?

    Thanks,

    Atifah
