NOTIFICATION CALL: Email Notification not triggered
In our environment we have CALL notification enabled for sending the mail notifications to respective owners of the jobs for cancelled or errored jobs.

Recently we had a issue where we noticed that these are not getting triggered since 15th July 2022. After further analysis we found that the trigger is not reading the " :read &MERUNNR#,,," automatically. when ever we are trying to execute it is asking for that number. this was running fine until 15.07.2022 and it stopped after that

We are unaware how it  was automatically triggered every morning 1.30 am cET

    Please suggest.
    Thanks and Regards

    Hi,
what is the parent object to that notification? Does it set MERUNNR# correctly to be inherited to the notification?
    Regards, Markus

    Hi,

As I allready mentioned: this is mainly a forum of voluntiers. So if you don't get an immediate answer, that might be because nobody knows the answer or is unwilling to answer or ...something else... In any case: it doesn't make sense to demand an answer.

Which object does the :put_read_buffer MERUNNR# = "xxx"? In other words: what is the parent/activator of the CALL?
You need to find that object and than check why the variable &MERUNNR# is actually not filled.

If you run the CALL manually it - of course - asks you for the run id, as it processes the :read statement....works as designed

    Cheers
    Christoph

BTW: are you sure you want  to publish your SIEMENS.COM e-mail adress?
