    Hi All,

We are proud to announce the Early (Beta) Availability of the E2E Application Response Monitoring (e2e_AppMon) Probe v2.60.

    • With this release, we bring the much-awaited support for Microsoft Edge to the probe. This helps customers migrate from the legacy Internet Explorer-based scripting.
    • This release also brings with it a wholly revamped script capturing and compiling browser extension 'NimRecorder'. This extension is available on the Chrome Extension Webstore and Firefox Add-Ons Store. We are working with Microsoft to get it on the MS Edge Extension Store soon! Meanwhile, the extension can be manually loaded to MS Edge browser instances using the instructions provided in the documentation.

We are eager to hear from you how this functionality performs in your environment and shall plan on a GA release based on the feedback received.

You can find more details in the Release Notes and the probe is available on the Beta Archive at support.nimsoft.com.

We understand that there have been some issues in getting the monitoring set up for MS Edge browser due to the manual browser extension loading procedure.

While we continue to work with Microsoft to resolve the issue preventing us from hosting the extension on their browser store, in the interim, we have created a solution document to help you get started with MS Edge:
