With the release of DX NetOps 22.2.4, the Spectrum users will now be able to configure the landscape name to make it user friendly and convenient for navigation.
In Large environments with more than 20 servers/landscapes it becomes extremely difficult for users to navigate the landscapes through hostnames or hexadecimal landscape model handle.
To overcome the problem we have come up with a new field "Landscape Display Name" under the general information tab which will allow users to setup a user friendly name for the landscape.
Navigation:
- Navigate to the Information tab for a VNM model in OneClick.
- Expand the General Information section.
- Locate the new field Landscape Display Name.
- Click on set and provide a string of your choice to be displayed for the landscape.
- The String set as part of this field will be reflected in the navigation tree.
