    Hello everyone,

Would like some advice on tuning SPS 12.8 servers on linux. I'm on CentOS7 (I plan to recreate the SPS. on RedHat8 within two months).
The VMs have 32GB of Ram, 4vCPU. I have 6  SPS behind a load balancer and I have to handle about 300 HTTP Request / s.
I'd like to discuss about the parameters to change for each "ring": operating system, apache, jvm, tomcat, and sps-specific.
    What do you recommend?

    Thanks in advance
    Marco

    Hi Marco,

Here is a Knowledge Base article for tuning the Siteminder components within Access Gateway (formerly Secure Proxy Server, or SPS):

You will need to find the best settings via experimentation, making sure the components are tuned to one another such that bottlenecks do not occur.

    Regards,
    Pete

    Hi Pete,
I had found something similar for an old version. Glad there is an updated one.
I'll work on it for a while, then maybe I'll post my thoughts and my configuration.
    Thanks!!
    Marco
