  • 1.  how to setup Auto notification for CI License expiry

    Posted Apr 18, 2022 07:08 AM
    Dear Community,

Can anyone guide on how to set up auto notifications before one month of CI expiry , I know about activity notifications but here the requirement is to check the expiration date and send notification before 30 days of it.
Do we need to create any job that tracks the expiry date and send notification ?
We have PAM , APM modules with us along Service desk 17.3 and Service catalogue.

    Appreciate any pointers on this.

    Regards
    Shafi.

    Hi Shafi

think it is easier to do it in APM, on the expiration date field you associate an IT PAM flow and with this you do not have to create a check job.

    Hi,
Directly from the SDM you will not be able to do it, I suggest you address the following approaches that at least worked for me.

1- Create a stored query with the CIs that are about to expire Similar to this
2- Create a report scheduled on the 1st of each month in Jasper that has the expiration date condition according to the criteria
