    Server:2010/Registry

Is it really server or the host/IP of the registry ?

Can you try adding the host name and IP address of Registry to the hosts file if this is a windows box?

Other potential reasons for this connectivity issue could be wrong hostname, Registry service not running, firewalls (local, remote, routers in between), multiple local NICs.

Kaustubh and Ulrich, issue resolved, we used the IP address of the host to connect.

Where to use the IP Address of the host to connect, where to add and modify during start

When you launch the workstation you (usually) get a message with the option to modify the hostname of the DevTest Registry server to connect to. You can enter an IP address also.

Screenshot of Registry selection when launching workstation.

You will not see this dialog anymore if you check the check box in this message box. The chosen Registry Server will be used automatically from there on.
