Automate Role Creation IAM

Hello All,

Just wanted to check if anyone has tried to automate role creation(access and provisioning) in IAM with admin and member conditions without having to login to IAM GUI and creating them.

On day to day basis we get request from customer to create roles and if we have some smart way of doing this , it will save us lot of time. Any suggestions/recommendations are highly appreciated.

Would a TEWS call be an option for the new role creation? fairly straight forward.
Another option would be roles.xml template combined with import/export utility as a batch? (..\CA\Identity Manager\IAM Suite\Identity Manager\tools\ImportExportUtility)

For TEWS call - there is an example for a Provisioning Role creation via TEWS here

A similar approach (launching the relevant task) could be done with other type of roles.
