Switches between FOS 7,8 and 9 version.

Good afternoon,
I would like to ask a question about a scenario I have come across.
I have Brocade 6510 switches with FOS version v8.2.x that have an ISL against other Brocade 300 switches with version 7.2.x. I have been bought new Brocade G620 switches that already come with version 9.x of FOS. I would like to know if, in order to replace the switches with version 7.2.x, I could join the Brocade 6510 with the new G620 through an ISL and then pass the cables from the Brocade 300 to the G620. In this scenario, 3 different versions of FOS would be coexisting.
