We are using an BCM53112 ethernet switch in our project.
I have following queries regarding the same-
1. BCM53112 SGMII refrence clock specification ??It is okay to provide a 156Mhz clock from buffer ?
2. We are not using SyncE functionality . SyncE pin is pulled up to 3.3V with 4.7K res. This is correct or pin need to be left floating ?
3. For the Programming and first boot up-
3a. BCM53112 can be boot up with out Flash for first time and SPI2 can communicate with FPGA with default bootup for programming??
3b. QSPI need to be programmed first so that BCM53112 may take configuration from it for first boot up??
3c. QSPI need to be provided with an external SPI debugger for configuration ??
3d. Is there any standard for Flash code ??
3e. QSPI Flash can be programmed though the BCM and SPI2 ??
