- v1.0 - 5/26/2017: Initial release.
- v1.1 - 6/1/2017: Added license edition as property.

This is a software blueprint that installs the Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows on a deployed VM, whether on-premises in a vSphere environment, in AWS, or in Microsoft Azure. The blueprint is designed to read the Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows and a valid license file from an SMB share accessible to the deployed system, and silently install both the agent and the license giving you a fully-functional agent that is ready for your configuration. It has been tested with Windows 2012 R2 and Windows 2016 in a vRealize Automation 7.2 environment with the Veeam Agent for Windows 2.0. To use this blueprint, you will require a vRealize Automation 7 Enterprise license, a Windows 2012 R2 or Windows 2016 template with the guest and software agents installed, an SMB share with a set of credentials, and the .exe and .lic files associated with the Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows 2.0.

After importing the blueprint with either an API request or the CloudClient, add it to a machine object on the design canvas as shown above.

Click the Veeam Agent software package to set the ID and view the description.

Be sure to edit the Veeam Agent for Windows software blueprint to edit the Properties as shown here to match your environment. Read the description to make sure you supply them in the appropriate fashion.
After publishing and entitling the catalog item, create the request and, after a few minutes, you should have a Windows VM with the new Veeam Agent for Windows up and available!
