Sample Exchange

If you are monitoring and managing a PCF deployment on vSphere using vRealize Operations Manager, you will come across the Blue Medora Management Pack for Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).

Although this MP provides a wide range of OOB dashboards, views etc., there is still some room for your own custom content;-)

This sample content shows how to create dashboards based on the official Pivotal documentation on PCF KPIs.

Please be aware, that the threshold values are set according to the documentation and some of them need to be adjusted to meet the actual environment configuration and behavior.

As always, this is just a sample, e.g. you will need to adjust the names, adapter instances, etc. to reflect your environment.

Installation instructions:

1. Download and extract the file PCF-KPI-Dashboards.zip
2. Import the Super Metric (SM_FOR_tkopton-Diego Cell KPIs.json)
3. Attache the SM to PCF Diego Cell object type and enable the Super Metric in your policy
4. Import the View (kopton-BBS App Instances Overview.xml)
5. Import the Dashboard
6. Adjust the Dashboards to meet your requirements / adapter instances if needed
