Yes the title Saids it all…
I've been running esxi 6.7 for several years now with version 9.2s of the Cisco software with no issues…. It finds the drivers and installs the esxi
afterwards.
currently I found the site for the software depot
https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/uc_system/virtualization/virtualization-cisco-ucm-session-management-edition.html
And it give . OVA files now but I can't figure out
which files I need to download because I'm now
running VMware esxi 8 which won't install because
it keeps giving the network adapter not found error message which the Cisco software above
takes care of. I just need to know which file or
files to download to get VMware running on my
Synology NAS with dsm 7.
vmware esxi 6.7 ran just fine but I thought it was
time for an upgrade.
VMware esxi 7 will not install or run either but I did
see the Cisco cucm software in action searching for missing drivers and installing them and then
determining if your version of VMware esxi is
compatible for the install. My VMware was too new and the Cisco cucm software was too old - i
think they are up to version 12 now if not higher.
any help would be appreciated
