This script removes a vSAN Witness Host for 2 Node and Stretched Cluster vSAN & replaces it.
If the vSAN Witness Host is available, this script removes the vSAN disk group on the vSAN Witness Host (so it may be reused), disables the Stretched Cluster, immediately replaces the vSAN Witness Host with another (already deployed) vSAN Witness Host, and issues a Repair Objects command to rebuild the Witness Components.
If the vSAN Witness Host is not available, the script disables the Stretched Cluster, immediately replaces the vSAN Witness Host with another (already deployed) vSAN Witness Host, and issues a Repair Objects command to rebuild the Witness Components.
*This will not work with Physical vSAN Witness Hosts. This has been tested with vSphere/vSAN 6.5/6.6/6.7 but should work with 6.2 also.
Syntax is: Vsan-ReplaceWitness.ps1 -ClusterName CLUSTERNAME
