I was still using VMware Tools 13.0.1.0 since installing Workstation 25H2.
I recently did the following:
Manually installing the latest VMware Tools fixes a lot of issues.
You can download the latest official version from the VMware Tools Download Page (official free VMware download).
After updating, I noticed:
• smoother VM performance
• cleaner and more responsive mouse input
• lower and more stable CPU usage
• a more stable Workstation environment overall
If you're having issues with a Windows 11 VM under Workstation, you may want to start by updating VMware Tools.
It's simple, fast, and it solved many of my integration problems.
